Licensed Therapist (Full-Time)

Full-time opportunity for a licensed clinician who is passionate about supporting individuals and couples in a warm, inclusive, and growth-oriented practice.

Location: Berkley, MI Office And Oak Park, Mi Office
Employment Type: Full-Time, W-2
Compensation: $65,000 - $80,000
Caseload Expectation: 25 client sessions per week
Reports To: Clinical Supervisor

Position Overview

Peace Of Mind Therapy is seeking a full-time Licensed Therapist to join our Berkley practice. This role is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about working with both individuals and couples and is excited to continue developing their clinical skills, especially in couples and relationship work.

We’re looking for someone who brings warmth, curiosity, professionalism, and clinical integrity to their work while valuing collaboration, connection, and ongoing professional growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide high-quality, ethical counseling services in person and through telehealth
  • Work with individuals and couples, supporting emotional well-being and relationship growth
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation, including intakes, notes, and treatment plans
  • Collaborate with treatment teams when clinically appropriate
  • Respond to client communication within 24 hours
  • Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing training
  • Maintain a consistent weekly caseload and schedule
  • Support approximately 5 hours of administrative responsibilities each week

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
  • Active, unrestricted Michigan license such as LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, LCPC, PhD, PsyD, LLP, or LP
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience
  • Strong documentation, organization, and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a caseload of 25 sessions per week
  • Private practice experience preferred

Preferred Experience

  • Strong interest in couples and relationship work
  • Training in CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, EFT, Psychodynamic Therapy, or similar modalities
  • Trauma-informed care experience
  • Interest in somatic approaches and nervous system-informed care
  • A defined clinical specialty, such as trauma, anxiety, grief, or anger management
  • BCBS paneling is a plus

Schedule Expectations

  • Availability for at least two evenings per week, or one evening plus one weekend block of approximately 6 hours
  • Evening hours may extend until 8:00 PM
